A 200-page premium hardcover photography book capturing Malta from above
Malta From The Air Book
Discover Malta from a perspective few ever experience.
Malta From The Air is a premium aerial photography book capturing one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive islands in a refined, large-format edition.
Across over 200 pages, the album presents Malta’s cities, coastline and landscapes as seen from above – revealing patterns, contrasts and spatial relationships that remain hidden at ground level. From the historic fabric of Valletta and the Three Cities, through the calm geometry of Mdina, to the rugged cliffs of Dingli and the turquoise waters of Comino and Gozo, each photograph contributes to a cohesive visual narrative of the island.
The images were created over multiple visits, using both aircraft and drone, with a focus on light, composition and timing. The result is a carefully curated body of work that captures Malta’s character – shaped by history, architecture and its unique position in the Mediterranean.
Printed as a high-quality hardcover edition, the book is designed as a lasting object – equally suited as a personal keepsake, a gift, or a visual statement piece.
Malta From The Air is distributed internationally via POLAND ON AIR, the publishing house behind a series of bestselling aerial photography books.

What's inside Malta From The Air?
MALTA FROM THE AIR is an aerial journey across the Maltese Islands.
We begin our flight above the capital city – Valletta – and continue towards the historic Three Cities. From there, we follow the coastline south, passing Marsaskala, Marsaxlokk, and the rugged southern shores of Malta.
Next, we reach some of the island’s most spectacular natural landmarks – the Blue Grotto, the isolated islet of Filfla, and the golden beaches of Għajn Tuffieħa.
As we move north, the landscape gradually changes. We fly over Mellieħa, Ċirkewwa, St. Paul’s Bay, Buġibba, and continue towards the vibrant urban coastline of St. Julian’s and Sliema.
Beyond the main island lies Comino – home to the famous Blue Lagoon, where the intense turquoise water, seen from above, creates one of the most striking views in the Mediterranean.
Our journey then leads us to Gozo. From the air, the island reveals a quieter, more rural character. We explore Mġarr Harbour, the hilltop citadel of Victoria, the coastal towns of Marsalforn and Xlendi, and the dramatic cliffs and hidden valleys that define Gozo’s unique landscape.
